Nu poti anticipa corect gabaritul unui “candy car’ pana nu il intalnesti fata in fata.&lt;br /&gt;Tehno Classica este insa si un loc de intalnire pentru furnizorii de scule si meseriasii pe cale de disparitie din lumea auto. Am vazut cum un batranel simpatic a batut o foaie de tabla la nicovala pand cand s-a conturat forma unui far asemanator cu cel al Bugatti-ului de mai sus. Cateva ore mai tarziu, forma era definita, nevalurita si gata de cromat. E greu sa nu ridici din sprancene cand esti martor al unei “fauriri” veritabile.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recomand cu caldura oricui are ocazia sa viziteze macar o data in viata salonul Tehno Classica. Monumente de tehnologie, cuceritoare de atatea titluri , astazi se odihnesc mai lustruite ca niciodata sub ochii mei. Poate copil in sinea mea, am lasat eleganta deoparte si cu un gest balcanic, am intins mana peste banda din jurul lor si le-am atins cu un deget. Pe toate! Sac!&lt;br /&gt;Am simtit o privire rece care ma fixa din spate. Apartinea unui Mercedes 500 K Roadster, masina pe care nu cred ca are sens sa incerc sa o descriu. In orice caz, sentimentul pe care il ai cand vezi o astfel de sculptura este de nedescris. Am cautat ceva si pe cineva cu care sa putem redefini aerul retro in interior. Si pentru ca orice lucru bun are o temelie sanatoasa, inainte de a incepe orice lucrare la designul interior al masinii, noi vom reconditiona si repara structura scaunului, arcurile si prinderile. Ce ne fascineaza pe noi cand vedem o masina veche?&lt;br /&gt;De ce "cu caracter"?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pentru ca atunci cand te intalesti prima oara cu o masina retro, mai ales dupa ce ai cunoscut-o doar in fotografii, te uimeste. Te uimeste marimea ei, oricat de pregatit ai fi sa gasesti ceva mare. Te uimesc solutiile tehnice din acele vremuri, pe care tu le credeai mult mai recente. Mai sunt detalii tehnice nu chiar atat de nesemnificative. Dar mai ales pentru forme. Da, in ziua in care atingi masina de peste 30 de ani, viata ti se schimba (presupunand ca esti pasionat).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Desenul de atunci, formele continuue, sunt fara pereche. Viitorul era mai indepartat atunci. Poate acesta este si motivul pentru care designul era atat de studiat. Foarte rar se crea "comercial". Formele erau clare, clasele erau clare. Nu existau cross-over-uri si coupe-uri cu 4 usi. Iar daca propuneai asa ceva radeau si copiii de gradinita. De ce oare, odata cu trecerea timpului avem parte de mai multe progenituri, rezultate ale dorintei mintilor avide de comercial de a mai crea inca o nisa ? Sau tocmai am raspuns? Cred ca da.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mi-e greu sa nu iubesc o masina veche, mi-e greu sa nu mangai in lungime o masina veche care-ti sopteste atatea povesti, care-ti dezvaluie atata istorie.&lt;br /&gt;Am ceva de spus si pentru fanii masinilor noi, Stiti voi, alea eficiente, inteligente, care se parcheaza singure si care iti sunt si prietene. Micile imperfectiuni, micile chitibushe care apar la un oldtimer, sunt doar accente care te leaga mai mult de "fierul ala". Perfectiunea este plictisitoare. Altfel de ce schimbam mai mult masinile astazi decat acum 35 de ani? Nu e din cauza devalorizarii, nici a ofertelor noi, ci din lipsa unei legaturi, fie ea si light-afectiva. Nu ne mai leaga nimic, nu mai traim nimic cu ea. Ne plictiseste. Mult. Adica nu este un original. O copie. Si inca una buna. Nu m-as cufunda in detalii da' tre' sa-ti spun ca la putere si cuplu sunt identice.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Eram cu Cristi si era toamna...a inceput ca o joaca. Dupa o saptamana caroseria era in atelier si ma uitam la ea in doua feluri. "Felu' intai" era naiv si arogant. Ma asteptam sa fie usor. Imi ziceam hmm trei luni, hai patru. "Felu' doi" era uimit ca un copil care nu-si crede ochilor. Era a doua oara in viata cand vedeam o Cobra si in ciuda faptului ca este una dintre cele mai simple masini din Lume, era complicata. Era o contradictie perpetua, insa statica. Era un depozit plin ochi de piese putine, pe care le stiam, nestiind unde vin fiecare. Era o masina puternica-fragila pe care o stiam necunoscand-o.&lt;br /&gt;A durat 7 luni s-o construim. Eram trei. Aveam seara doua idei si a doua zi 5 idei noi ca pana la pranz sa mai creasca inca trei. De cele mai multe ori insa, in masina nu incapea decat una bucata idee.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;A iesit bine. Chiar foarte bine. Nu, nu sunt multumit. Cred ca am lamurit asta. Mama spune ca o sa fiu toata viata nefericit. Nu nefericit, doar nemultumit. A nu se confunda. :-)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Vopseaua a iesit o mica opera de arta. Responsabili: Razvan si Vasile. Prietenii stiu de ce...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Stiu ca nu mai poti. Doare? Te chinuie intrebarea aia? Ahhaaa cat mai rezisti? Hai fie...iti raspund. Nu "i-am dat" deloc tare. Mi-e frica. Cand se deschide a doua camera a carburatorului ma sperii.&lt;br /&gt;Si pana la urma nici n-ai nevoie sa mergi repede. Un prieten bun, care e lup de mare, observa cum Cobra iti ofera senzatii intense la 60 de km/h. Nu e cunoscator, insa e un iubitor . Si asta conteaza.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Nu mai intelegi nimic, nu? Atunci am ajuns unde am vrut. In umila mea parere aroganta, masina asta a fost inteleasa doar de un om: tatal ei. Si cred ca nu o sa indrazneasca nimeni sa ma contrazica cand spun ca odata cu el si Ettore Bugatti, a inceput luxul suprem in materie de automobile.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Ar vrea sa se intoarca. Capodoperele insa s-au facut de mult.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Imi place. Ne place. Ne lasa muti. Cred ca am avea noroc daca am mangaia un exemplar intr-o zi.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Fara cusur. Carcotasi din Lumea intreaga va provoc! Daca vreunul din voi rosteste in minte "consum" il invit sa plece. Dupa ce am terminat masina, am citit un articol despre consola... spuneau ca ajungi sa urasti masina din cauza ei! Deh..ne-a trecut si supararea :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ce ne place-&lt;br /&gt;Forma. Corvette-ul asta are forme din cele mai voluptoase intalnite in istorie. Solutiile tehnice. Mirosul de sfarsit de '60 si inceput de '70. Pachetul de chibrituri de sub scaun cu anul "1974" inscriptionat pe el.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cum merge-&lt;br /&gt;He he...
